Spring is in the aaaiiiirrrr

PEEP-O :D

Yesterday was lovly realy mild and felt alot like spring. We FINNALLY bought winnies new car seat, which arived today. We are extended rear facing, as its much safer for any one under 6. Under 6 years old the head is so out of preportion to the body that what would be whiplash, results in internal decaptation. Go educate your self http://www.rearfacing.co.uk/

We have gone with the britax multi tech. BUT if you order it through your local volvo garage, part number 31320139, its about £100 cheeper! It has a volvo sticker on it not a britax, which is a bonus, (volvo adict in the family!)

So after much fun playing with the new carseat, the large box it came in has now been turned in to lovly wendy house for winnie.

Today was the first day innes and I explored the garden, 2 doors down's cat came and played with us to which was fun. She loved attacking and chaising the stick innes and ben wiggled for her while I made a curry for tea.

Also the last few days I've been working on some new fabrics. These are organic fair traide fabrics, printed with eco friendly, PVC free inks. I LOVE them, turned out better than I thought though they need two draws over or they look a bit antique / faded, which is a nice look that can be utilised in future prints.

This one is on to a pillow case, it went wrong! the screan was a bit wet still so it went splooodge! Also for some reason small holes have appeared in the screen block :( Trying to solve this problem, please coment if you know what to do!

Ben and I have also started planning our veggie plot! I didn't know there were so many different veriatys of variouse veggies! I think its going to be shut my eyes and choose at random or I will just get bogged down with chooseing the perfect veriaty! argh!

Spoons go well with many things!

Helloo :)

Inspired by Ben, and his disaplin of writing a bit every day, I'm going to try some sort of daily waffling, so when I'm old and grey......I am now back from grabbing the washing in ................and sitting in my rocking chair,I can look back and be reminded of random bits of life I have remeberd to write about!

So today Ben and I have done two loads of washing! Our clothes washing method involves a manual wander wash washing machine

and a mangle, 40-60s fold up style.

Home made detergent too, soapnuts, bicarb and lavender oil. means we can let the water go straight in to the grass with out killing the wild life for miles around. Also good for the skin.

Today we are doing the dance of hanging the washing out and running out to grab it during showers, thou the wind is good as is the sun between showers so its worth keeping it out.

Some little twazzock has left their dog poo near our washing line in the long grass, not nice.

Pixel is fully cooked today, his due date is the 15th of september but babys are full term / fully cooked 3 weeks befor that date. The whole due date thing is a bit of a myth any way, but given by drs to make it more precise and medically. I'm not a fan of dr.s any way, But I never realised quite how much they interfeared in pregnancy and birth, and how often they do it. I've always seen birth and a natural thing, and that oppinion has REALLY strengthened in the last few months, I'm not ill at all, just having a baby.

Its raining again.

The baby and I had an argument this morning, we both wanted to lye on the same bit of tummy, I eventually pushed him out the way and got back to sleep.
So fed up of the pain, I like being pregnant and fealing the little one kick and having a bump, but the pain that comes with it hurts, alot, and its REALLY tireing.

Saw a spider (Brian our resident fly catcher) POUNCE on a wasp today and wrap it up, was pretty impressive.

Must go need sleep. x
